About

Like many children, Kerry submerged herself into an imaginary world, flooding her days with illustration and writing. At the age of 11 she was first introduced to her father’s Nikon. It was only natural for her to be drawn in when her father, an accomplished writer and photographer, gave her a lesson one Saturday morning. From that point forward, her new eyes were open. Although her love for art and expression continued to expand into various avenues (painting, pottery, acting), she remained true to her beloved camera, studying both academically and expressively to stretch her photographic eye.

Her images today exemplify many different photographic processes, and take the viewer on a journey of emotions and depth. With her own experiences in mind, she recoils from her surroundings and exposes the effect into her work. Each photograph, in a manner, is of herself – personal, delicate, sometimes ethereal, lonely, and always instinctive.
